Laboratory Operations Technician I

JOB SUMMARY

KBI is seeking a laboratory operations technician for the analytical and formulation sciences department. An ideal applicant should have strong communication skills, attention to details, curriculum history in the sciences, eagerness to collaborate and a passion for helping patients through medicines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At a granular level, in addition to other duties, the AFS Operations Tech will be responsible for:

• Daily laboratory audit readiness housekeeping (Glassware, supplies etc…)
• Laboratory reagent shelf-life identification, labeling and disposal
• Hazardous waste collection and disposal per OSHA and HSE
• Laboratory Instrument Standardization pH, balances etc
• Documentation review for simple instruments and peer shadowing
• Instrument classification, documentation reconciliation and labeling
• Daily Laboratory Audit Inspection Walkthrough and Documentation
• Operations collaboration with management

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Laboratory Operations Technician requires a high school degree or equivalent; Enrollment in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program preferred. LabWorks certification a plus with 0+ years' experience.

Laboratory Operations Technician I require education equivalency with 2+ years of experience.
