Job Title: Laboratory Supervisor II Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 5:00 PM–3:30 AM (One Saturday every 12 weeks)Location: DeLand, FL 32724, USJob SummaryThe Supervisor II, Laboratory (Auto Chemistry) oversees day-to-day operations of the Auto Chemistry department, ensuring quality testing, efficient workflow, and team performance. This role provides hands-on leadership, supports quality and compliance standards, and supervises laboratory staff on an assigned shift.Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support lab teammates to ensure quality, productivity, and compliance
Monitor workflow from specimen processing through results reporting
Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements
Lead training, competency assessments, and performance evaluations
Manage staffing, scheduling, timecards, and coverage
Identify and implement process improvements
Participate in quality improvement, safety, and compliance initiatives
Cover bench work as needed

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

6–8 years of experience as a Medical Technologist or Laboratory Supervisor
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or related field
Florida Supervisor License – Chemistry
National certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent)
