Laborer

Boiler Tube Company of America (BTA) is looking for a dedicated Laborer to support our operations in Lyman, SC. As a recognized leader in the boiler industry, BTA focuses on delivering high-quality pressure part replacements with an emphasis on speed, quality, and customer satisfaction. The Laborer will play a vital role in the fabrication shop by assisting welders and other technicians in various tasks essential for the production and assembly of boiler components. Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and assembly of materials and components for fabrication.
• Support welders and technicians by providing tools and materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
• Load and unload materials; help transport components to work areas.
• Participate in inventory checks and store materials properly.
• Follow directions from supervisors and contribute to teamwork in various projects.
• Engage in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and advance in the position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience required; willingness to learn and develop skills is essential.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform labor-intensive tasks.
• Familiarity with safety protocols in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and reliability in attendance and performance.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet production demands.
