Laborer Location: Dayton, NV 89403Pay Rate: $18.00/hrSchedule: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday, FridayLaborer Job SummaryThe Laborer performs a variety of general manual labor tasks to support daily operations at the Sutro Transfer Station. This role works under direct supervision and is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Pick up debris in and around the facility to maintain cleanliness and safety.
- Perform general labor tasks such as:
- Lifting and moving materials
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Digging, refilling holes, and basic grounds work
- Mowing, trimming, and assisting with equipment operations
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE (steel?toed shoes).
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by site leadership.
- High school diploma or GED
- 0–4 years of previous labor, warehouse, or outdoor work experience
- Associate degree or equivalent experience (not required)
- None required
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Comfortable performing physical labor throughout the day
- Able to lift and handle objects under 30 lbs regularly
- Willingness to work outdoors and in environments with dirt, odors, noise, and weather exposure
- Manual labor setting with exposure to outdoor elements
- Occasional exposure to occupational risks (cuts, burns, chemicals)
- Frequent physical activity including lifting, bending, and moving materials
