Job Description

NOW HIRING: MITIGATION TECHNICIAN

Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho

Pay: $18-$25/hour, based on experience

Schedule: Full-time | Rotating on-call schedule required

Start Date: ASAP

What You'll Do

As a Mitigation Technician, you'll respond to properties affected by water, fire, smoke, mold, and other types of damage. You'll work hands-on to stabilize the property, prevent further damage, and begin the restoration process.

Your responsibilities may include:

Responding to emergency water, fire, smoke, and mold calls
Water extraction and structural drying
Performing demolition and cleanup as needed
Taking moisture readings and documenting job progress
Assisting with fire and smoke cleanup and odor removal
Supporting mold remediation projects
Performing basic carpet and upholstery cleaning
Boarding up and securing damaged structures
Communicating professionally with customers throughout the restoration process
Maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and work areas
Participating in a rotating on-call schedule

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have:

High school diploma or GED
Previous construction, restoration, or hands-on experience is a plus
IICRC certifications are a plus, but we're willing to train the right person
Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and work in tight or confined spaces
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer, smartphone, and tablet skills
A positive, team-oriented, can-do attitude
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
