Job Description

R. J. Corman Railroad Services is currently seeking a Laborer in Nicholasville, KY.

Responsibilities:

Travel extensively on a rotating schedule (typically 8 days on, 6 days off).
Perform physical labor, including digging, hammering, and using various tools.
Practice safe work habits and ensure proper PPE is used.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Specialized or Technical Knowledge, or Education and Experience:

Ability to operate or learn heavy and specialized equipment.
Must pass a background check, drug screen, and physical capacity test.
On-the-job training provided.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements:

Lift up to 100 pounds maximum.
Frequently lift and/or carry objects up to 50 pounds.
Perform physically demanding work using hand tools and equipment.

Environmental Requirements:

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to travel extensively for work.
Work in active railroad and construction-related environments.
Enjoy working outdoors.
