GCM - LABORER I

Role Overview

The Golf Course Maintenance Laborer I at The Club at Kukui'ula plays a crucial role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our renowned golf course. In this role, you will operate light equipment, prepare and cultivate the soil, plant and maintain vegetative materials, assist in constructing various golf course features, and carry out general maintenance and repair work on all golf course grounds and facilities.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in operating light equipment such as line trimmers, edgers, and blowers.
  • Capable of managing powered vehicles and mowers, both electric and fuel-powered tools.
  • Experience with hand tools, hoses, and planting material.
  • Familiarity with safety equipment and protocols.
  • Ability to operate transportation vehicles such as tricksters, golf carts, and utility vehicles.
  • Knowledge and experience in grading and preparing soil for seed, plants, or trees.
  • Skilled in laying sod, planting vegetative materials, and cultivating and trimming vegetative materials.

Requirements

  • Willingness to assist in the construction of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, and planting beds.
  • A commitment to perform general maintenance and repair work on all golf course grounds and any golf course facility or building.
  • Must be able to adhere to safety protocols and operate all equipment and vehicles safely and responsibly.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, following instructions as directed.

Salary Range

$21.25 to $25.00 USD Hourly.
