Position Overview:

As a Landscape Construction Laborer at Barnes, Inc., you will play a crucial role in bringing our landscaping projects to life. You'll work alongside a team of experienced professionals to create beautiful hardscapes that enhance outdoor living spaces. If you have a strong work ethic, a love for the outdoors, and a desire to grow with a company that values your contributions, this position is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor kitchens.
  • Planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other softscape elements according to design plans.
  • Soil preparation, mulching, and irrigation system installation.
  • Pruning, trimming, and maintaining plants to ensure their health and aesthetics.
  • Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment and tools.
  • Follow safety guidelines and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site.
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent our company in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in landscaping or hardscape installation is a plus but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals.
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
