Job Overview:

As a Seasonal Landscape Crew Member at Sunrise Landscape, you will be an essential part of our landscaping team, responsible for executing a variety of tasks on residential and commercial landscaping projects. This role involves working with a team to complete landscape installations, maintenance, and enhancements, ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and client satisfaction. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Landscape Installation: Assist in the installation of various landscape elements, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and turf. Help with the construction of hardscapes such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. 

• Maintenance Tasks: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, pruning, weeding, and mulching to ensure the upkeep and health of landscapes. 

• Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, leveling soil, and setting up necessary equipment. Ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and according to project specifications. 

• Equipment Operation: Operate landscaping tools and machinery, such as lawn mowers, blowers, edgers, and hand tools. Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions or needed repairs. 

• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work is completed to company standards and client specifications. Conduct final inspections of completed tasks to confirm quality and address any issues. 

• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other crew members, following instructions from supervisors and assisting with various tasks as needed. Contribute to a positive and productive team environment. 

• Safety Practices: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while on the job site. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow best practices to prevent accidents and injuries. 

• Client Interaction: Represent GreenScape Landscaping Solutions professionally on job sites. Address any client questions or concerns courteously and report feedback to supervisors. 

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in landscaping or a related field is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided. 

• Skills: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks. Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques and tools is a plus. 

• Knowledge: Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices, plant care, and equipment operation is advantageous. 

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.
