Landscape Crew Member

The Crew Members at Carroll County Landscape are responsible for the comprehensive maintenance and management of gardens across both residential and commercial properties. Their duties include planting, pruning, weeding, and overall landscape maintenance. No experience needed! We will train the right candidates!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Trimming, mulching, plantings, spring/fall clean-ups
• Hand edging & edging w/ machine, seasonal & dormant pruning, hand weeding, turf and plant management
• Seasonal Plantings and upkeep.
• Landscape construction projects and maintenance
• Maintaining gardens and other plant life, watering, deadheading, cutbacks.
• Clean and maintain equipment
• Ensure safety regulations and standards compliance
• General landscaping duties

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
• Must be able to operate general maintenance equipment and vehicles
• The ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to your team
• A strong work ethic and demonstrated reliability
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetic

PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Regularly exposed to extreme temperatures and various weather conditions
• Frequently required to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of items exceeding 50 pounds.
• Often required to reach above and below shoulder level.
• Frequent hand manipulation is needed for grasping, handling objects, and operating controls.
• Frequent bending and squatting, with occasional twisting and kneeling.
