Compensation: $43,000 - $50,000 depending on experience

What does a landscape plant maintenance crew member do?
- Maintain landscaped areas and plant material on residential properties. pruning, mulching, weeding, cutbacks, and cleanups on a regular schedule and as needed.
- Assist with landscape installation and tree work as needed/seasonally.
- Work well independently as well as on a team while caring for customer properties.
- Interact professionally with customers on a daily basis communicating the process and expectations of services.
- Possess a general knowledge of plant maintenance practices.
- Continue on the job training for all aspects of RYAN provided services along with recommendations for other RYAN services as needed on their property.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required (Horticulture degree preferred)
- 1 years' experience in landscape plant maintenance or related field
- Working knowledge of plant identification, proper pruning and common issues by species
- Commercial applicator's license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain DOT medical certification
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk, stand, and push/pull equipment for extended periods, including up to 3 miles per day in the field
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, year-round

All candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana), criminal background check, MVR check, and DOT physical (where applicable) before starting employment. Candidates must meet all screening requirements as a condition of employment.
