You're key to ensuring these properties look their best while promoting safety and sustainability. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in your work, and want to grow your skills in the landscaping industry, this is the opportunity for you.What You'll Do As a Landscaping Crew Laborer, you will be responsible for:
- Cutting turf with power mowers, edging, and trimming using gas-powered tools to keep lawns looking flawless.
- Pruning shrubs and low-hanging branches to support healthy growth and improve landscape aesthetics.
- Planting new flowers and maintaining flower beds to boost curb appeal.
- Operating equipment such as edgers, blowers, and trimmers along sidewalks and around landscape features.
- Cleaning up debris, blowing leaves, and composting organic waste to keep sites tidy.
- Mulching beds and organic matter during mowing to suppress weeds and enhance soil health.
- Weeding regularly and performing basic equipment maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Removing dead plants, trash, and suckers to promote landscape health.
- Maintaining a professional, friendly attitude with clients and team members and reporting safety concerns to the Crew Leader.
- At least 18 years old with a reliable work ethic.
- Enthusiasm for outdoor work and a positive attitude.
- Ability to safely operate landscape equipment, including power saws, blowers, and trimmers.
- Certification in Level 1 equipment operation (backpack blowers, string trimmers, edgers, mowers).
- Basic knowledge of horticultural maintenance and landscape practices.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry equipment and materials, bend, squat, and stand for long periods.
