Wylie/Dallas area

The Position:

We are seeking a full-time/year-roundLaborer to be responsible for performing a variety of landscape tasks using hand tools and other equipment.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation and maintenance of landscaping projects, including planting, mulching, sod installation, and irrigation.
• Operate hand tools and basic power equipment safely and effectively.
• Lay sod, plant, water, fertilize, dig, rake, and install plants, trees, and sprinklers.
• Perform duties such as pulling weeds, watering, removing trash, trimming, mowing, raking, edging, pruning, hedging, and blowing leaves and debris using different pieces of landscape equipment.
• Follow instructions from crew leaders or supervisors to complete projects on time and to quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, vehicles, and equipment.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
• Prepare plants and trees for winter to prevent freeze damage and perform yard maintenance, including drainage management.
• Perform winter landscaping tasks such as planting hollies, evergreens, and seasonal winter flowers.
• Organize, prepare, and install holiday décor, including ornaments, seasonal arrangements, string lights, and displays, and remove décor after the season.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while working on job sites.

Qualifications:

• Legal authorization to work in the United States required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation to the Branch or first job site.
• Safe driving record & ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Report "MVR" is a plus.
