LASER OPERATOR | $17.50 $21.50/HRLocation: Holdrege, NELooking for a manufacturing opportunity with great second-shift pay, a four-day regular workweek and the opportunity for a pay increase when hired on? We re hiring Laser Operators in Holdrege!This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience operating laser cutting equipment while producing high-quality metal components.PAY & SCHEDULE1st Shift $17.50/hourMonday Thursday, 6: 00 AM 4: 45 PMOvertime on Fridays when required2nd Shift $21.50/hourMonday Thursday, 4: 45 PM 3: 30 AMOvertime on Fridays when requiredSecond-shift employees may train on first shift for approximately 2 4 weeks, depending on how quickly they learn the position.Pay increase when hired on!WHAT YOU LL DO
- Set up and operate laser cutting equipment
- Cut sheet metal and other materials according to specifications
- Read blueprints, technical drawings and work orders
- Load and unload materials and finished parts
- Adjust machine settings for proper cutting performance
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Use a variety of hand and air tools
- Assist with other production duties as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand and walk throughout a 10-hour shift
- Ability to push, pull, bend, kneel, twist and reach
- Ability to lift 25 50 lbs. Regularly and occasionally up to 70 lbs.
- Steel-toed boots are required
