Laser Operator (Amada Laser- 4i Control) | CNC Laser Machine OperatorWatson Custom TanksWeekend Shift: Friday-Sunday 5:00am-5:30pmPay: $20-$24/hr + 10% Shift DifferentialJob PurposeWe are currently seeking a Laser Operator (Amada Laser- 4i Control) to join our team. Laser Operators are a vital part of production, helping form and cut parts by operating machinery safely and accurately. Team members are assigned to a primary area, but are empowered to cross-train to learn additional machines and grow their skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Understand and follow all company procedures for safety.Inspect work pieces to confirm they conform to specifications; adjust machine settings to correct errors.Follow technical instructions and interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.Test finished products for defects.Maintain the tools used to create products.Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.

QualificationsEducation

High school diploma or GED strongly preferred

Specialized Knowledge & Experience

Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, shop floor documentation, customer specifications/diagrams, and instructions from supervisors/managers.No experience required, but successful candidates must have the mechanical aptitude to manufacture high-quality parts.
