Job Description
Laser Operator
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PMPay: $24/hour (Based on Experience)
Location: Cudahy
We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team on first shift. The ideal candidate will have experience operating laser cutting equipment in a fabrication environment. Programming experience is a plus. Additional fabrication experience such as bandsaw, drill press, plasma cutting, and flame cutting is highly desirable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products.
- Operate laser cutting equipment to produce parts according to specifications.
- Verify operational efficiency of equipment before and during production runs.
- Dismantle machines or equipment using hand or power tools to inspect for defects and replace defective components as needed.
- Maintain quality standards and ensure finished products meet specifications.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.
- Excellent coordination and mechanical aptitude.
- Basic computer skills.
