DawsonSpringsHealth&RehabilitationCenter,asmall60-bedskillednursingfacilityinWesternKentucky,isseekingahighlymotivatedAssistantAdministrator(Administrator-in-Training)tojoinourleadershipteam.ThisuniqueopportunityisidealforprofessionalsaspiringtobecomeLicensedNursingHomeAdministratorswhilegaininghands-onexperienceinmanagingallaspectsoflong-termcareoperations,includingadmissionsandsocialservices.

AbouttheAssistantAdministratorRole

AsanAssistantNursingHomeAdministratoratourintimatefacility,youwillhaveabroadleadershiprolethatincludesmanagingdailyoperationsandservingastheheadofadmissionsandsocialservices.Thispositionisnotaninternshipbutacriticalleadershiprolethatoffersdirectmentorshipfromexperiencedadministratorsandexposuretoeveryfacetofskillednursingfacilityoperations.

KeyResponsibilities

CollaboratecloselywiththeFacilityAdministratortooverseedailynursinghomeoperations
Leadadmissionsprocesses,coordinatingresidentintakeandplacement
Managesocialservices,includingresidentsupport,counseling,andfamilycommunications
Participateinleadershipanddepartmentheadmeetings
Assistwithemployeerecruitment,retention,andstaffengagement
Supportregulatorycomplianceandprepareforstateandfederalsurveys
Helpdevelopandmanagebudgetsandfinancialreporting
Leadqualityassuranceandperformanceimprovementinitiatives
Workcross-functionallywithnursing,dietary,housekeeping,maintenance,andbusinessofficeteams
Managespecialprojectsfocusedonoperationalexcellenceandresidentsatisfaction
Developexpertiseinstateandfederallong-termcareregulations
Assumeincreasingleadershipresponsibilitiesthroughouttheprogram

Qualifications

Required:
Bachelor’sdegreefromanaccreditedcollegeoruniversity
Strongleadership,communication,andinterpersonalskills
Abilitytoworkcollaborativelyacrosshealthcaredisciplines
Demonstratedproblem-solvingandorganizationalabilities
CommitmenttoobtainKentuckyLong-TermCareAdministratorlicensurewithin12months
Abilitytomaintainconfidentialityandprofessionalism
Preferred:

Previoussupervisoryordepartmentheadexperience

LicensureRequirement
