The Laundry Attendant is primarily responsible for sorting and laundering linen and terry in accordance with resort procedures while following company standards and safety/security procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, luxury service-oriented manner.
Maintain regular attendance in compliance with The Lake Estate on Winnisquam standards as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the resort.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include the proper uniform and name tag when working.
Always comply with the company's standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient resort operations.
Sort Linen (Terry, sheets, pillowcases, bath ropes)
Weigh linen and load washers
Load dryers
Know the operating functions of the machines and the correct programs to use.
Fold linen according to standards and load folded linen unto designated shelving
Be able to maintain productivity standards daily.
Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
Access to back of house areas of the resort and potentially sensitive information.
Maintain a high level of trust and responsibility.
Represent the company with a certain level of reputation and good character as well as exercise sound judgement.

Education and Skills:

High Scholl diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a luxury hotel/resort or a related field preferred
This position requires strong attention to detail, and an ability to communicate effectively with team members
Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
