About the role:

The Laundry Wash Attendant reports directly to the Laundry Manager and is responsible for providing a constant supply of clean linens for the entire hotel. The ability to perform daily cleaning duties in the laundry/valet area. The ability to complete the physical requirements for the position which include, but not limited to; lifting, pushing, pulling, working with chemicals and industrial equipment, working with wet, heavy linen, bending.

What you will do:

• The ability to sort, load and unload the washing machines with linen

• Store, requisition and utilize the proper chemicals for the washers

• Sort all linen and terry for the departments

• The ability to operate and maintain the dryers.

What you bring:

• One to two years' previous experience in Housekeeping or Laundry; previous employment experience within a luxury Hotels is considered an asset

• Strong communication skills

Schedule & Hours:

• Successful candidates will be hired as a casual, part time employee. Successful candidates are expected to work day, night, holidays, and/or weekends.
