Position Overview

Shegerian & Associates is seeking Law Clerks to join our Team. This position offers hands-on litigation experience for law students interested in plaintiff-side employment law. Law clerks work closely with experienced attorneys on substantive assignments that directly impact active cases, gaining exposure to all phases of employment litigation in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Qualifications

Current law student in good academic standing ( 1L, 2L, or 3L)
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Interest in plaintiff-side employment law and litigation
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Draft and edit discovery responses, including interrogatories and requests for production
Assist in preparing mediation briefs and supporting documentation
Conduct legal research related to California labor and employment law
Draft motions to compel, oppositions, and supporting legal memoranda
Support attorneys with case preparation as needed
