Job Description
LAW FIRM HR AND ACCOUNTING SPECIALISTFULLY IN THEIR NORTH DALLAS OFFICE
- Reports to the Director of Human Resources and Accounting
- Responsibilities include:
- * Right-hand to the Director of Human Resources and Accounting
- * Accounts receivable, accounts payable, firm billing, client account reconciliations, timekeeper reports and management reports
- * Assist with hiring, terminations and personnel records
- * Counsel employees as needed
- * Effectuate semi-monthly payroll through payroll service
- * Administrator of 401k plan; process and remit 401k deferrals and matches for each payroll
- * Manage health, dental and vision plans through professional employment organization
- * Maintain firm commercial package insurance information/records
- * Prepare and enter all payroll journal entries and other necessary journal entries for general ledger
- * Consult with and respond to CPA as required
- * Main contact for Westlaw and Lexis/Nexis representatives and recruiting agencies
- * Responsible for maintenance and renewal of online court records accounts in the various surrounding counties;
