What would my hours look like?
Full Time
8 hour shift
Monday-Friday
Saturdays are used as make-up days (Peak Season may require additional Saturdays)
Location: Weed Man Louisville, KY

Average earners make $24 - $28 per hour
This is broken down by Production+ Hourly & Commission

The Role of a Lawn Care Technician:
- Market and occasionally quote our products and services to potential customers
- Distribute necessary promotional material
- Meet with current and prospective customers and exceed customer service standards
- Provide professional lawn care services to customers, including applications of fertilizer, lime, weed, insect, disease, grub, mole & mosquito control, aeration, and seeding.
- Safely and knowledgeably handle, mix, transport, and apply chemical products.
- Perform lawn analyses, including measuring the turf, identifying lawn problems, and identifying accurate pricing for services.
- Generate field sales (additional commission rewarded)
- Observe and report lawn conditions to customers and sell add-on services
- Get and maintain your pesticide applicator license - We Will Help You Do This!
- Drive company vehicles
- Complete daily truck checkout procedures
- Properly and safely maintain equipment.
- Complete assigned daily work, associated paperwork, and administrative requirements related to the position.
- Clear communication with your team and/or supervisor
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Have a clean criminal record
- Legal documentation to verify employment eligibility
- Able to work 8-10 hours per day (including some Saturdays during peak season)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (8-10 hours per day)
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Adhere to company policies, which can be found in the employee handbook (i.e., drug, alcohol, tobacco, cell phone, attendance, etc.)
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and will initiate action when needed
- Requires minimum supervision, but knows when to ask for assistance
- Accepts feedback from fellow team members
