Job Description

Are you a caring and dedicated professional looking to make a real difference in the lives of individuals experiencing substance use disorders? Addiction Recovery Medical Services is excited to welcome a friendly and compassionate LCAS, LPC, or LCMHC to our team! In this important role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide essential counseling services to our patients as they work toward recovery.

At ARMS, we foster a supportive and nurturing environment. You'll work alongside our dedicated team to develop personalized patient care plans, facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, and empower our patients to overcome their challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized patient care plans
  • Provide individual and group therapy, focusing on evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and adjust patient care plans as needed.
  • Lead educational workshops and support groups for patients and their families.
  • Encourage and motivate patients to engage in their recovery journey.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as an LCAS, LPC, or LCMHC in North Carolina.
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to counseling.
  • Experience working in the addiction treatment field is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems is a plus!
