Pay Rate: $28.00-$35.00/hr

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals ready to step into leadership, as well as skilled technicians looking to grow into advanced AV roles.• We are hiring across multiple levels, including Helper, Level I, Level II, Level III Technicians, along with leadership roles such as Lead Technician, Foreman, Superintendent, and Project Manager creating opportunities for both entry-level candidates and seasoned professionals.• What You ll Do• As a Lead Audio/Visual Technician, you will oversee AV installations from start to finish, ensuring quality, performance, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities include:• Leading crews in the installation of commercial audio/visual systems • Installing and configuring AV components including displays, projectors, video walls, speakers, microphones, and control systems • Running and terminating low-voltage cabling to support AV systems • Reading and interpreting blueprints, one-lines, signal flow diagrams, and shop drawings • Installing and terminating structured cabling (Cat6/6A) to support AV and control systems • Performing rack buildouts, equipment mounting, and cable management • Programming and commissioning AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX preferred) • Testing and troubleshooting system functionality, signal flow, and connectivity • Coordinating with project managers, other trades, and end users • Mentoring apprentices, helpers, and junior technicians • What We re Looking For• Proven experience in commercial AV installation and leadership roles such as Lead Technician or Foreman • Strong knowledge of AV systems including audio distribution, video conferencing, digital signage, and control systems • Experience with AV rack integration, system commissioning, and troubleshooting • Familiarity with structured cabling and low-voltage infrastructure • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system schematics • Experience with industry-standard tools and testing equipment • Certifications such as CTS or manufacturer certifications are a plus • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills • Why Work Through TradeSTAR?• TradeSTAR connects you with top-tier contractors while supporting your long-term career growth.
