Lead Carpenter / Remodeler

TruBlue Home Service Ally of Culpeper

Pay: $30–$45 per hour depending on experienceLocation: Culpeper / Spotsylvania areaExperience Required: Minimum 10 years carpentry or remodeling

What You'll Be Doing

Most of your time will be spent working independently on residential projects.

Typical work includes:

• Bathroom remodeling• Drywall repair and finishing• Trim carpentry (baseboards, casing, etc.)• Light framing and carpentry repairs• Fascia board replacement• Interior painting related to carpentry work• General residential repair and improvement projects

Carpenters regularly perform drywall work on our jobs, so drywall experience is important.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

• Working at residential job sites• Completing carpentry and remodeling work• Reviewing the scope of work for each project• Determining materials needed for the job• Picking up materials from local suppliers• Traveling to job sites within our service area

Most work takes place within Culpeper and Spotsylvania.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years carpentry or remodeling experience• Experience with drywall repair and finishing• Ability to work independently• Must own your own carpentry tools• Reliable transportation• Ability to read and follow a scope of work• Ability to determine materials needed for projects• Must be able to pass a background check• Team-oriented attitude

Applicants without at least ten years of carpentry experience will not be considered.
