Lead Dental Assistant (DAII) – South Charlotte
Join our established private dental practice in South Charlotte! We’re looking for an experienced Lead Dental Assistant (DAII)who is dependable, patient-focused, and ready to take on a leadership role within a supportive clinical team.This is a great opportunity for a motivated assistant who enjoys helping patients, supporting office operations, and contributing to an efficient, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Assisting chairside during dental procedures
- Lead and support clinical team workflow throughout the day
- Take and process digital x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient charting and clinical records
- Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring proper room turnover
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
- Monitor and help manage dental supplies and inventory
- Assist with training and supporting team members as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental assistant
- Valid CPR/BLS Certification
- Qualified to expose dental radiographs in NC
- Coronal Polishing certification strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $24–$29 per hour, based on experience
