Lead Dental Care Coordinator
Sun Life Health is seeking an experienced Lead Dental Care Coordinator to support our dental front office team and help provide a smooth, positive experience for our patients.
What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day support and direction to Dental Care Coordinators
- Coordinate scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and patient flow
- Discuss treatment plan pricing, payments, and insurance benefits with patients
- Collect payments and balance daily transactions
- Maintain accurate patient information and dental records
- Help resolve patient concerns and ensure department procedures are followed
- Communicate with clinical staff and management to keep daily operations running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- Dental office experience is REQUIRED
- At least 1 year of dental front-office, receptionist, or cashier experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental insurance, scheduling, treatment plans, and payment collection preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
