Job Description
Be the reason someone has a great day. Mains’l Services is seeking Lead Direct Support Professionals (DSP). As a Direct Support Professional at Mains’l Services, you’ll be part of those moments while supporting people to live full, meaningful lives.Pay & Schedule
- $21.00 per hour
- Mon/Tues 8:30am-3:30pm Wed 2pm-10pm Thurs 8:30am-3:30pm EOW 8am-3pm
- Provide Person Centered Supports tailored to the individual needs (including Activities of Daily Living, behavioral supports, coaching and skill-building)
- Assist with transportation to various activities and medical appointments
- Maintain safe, clean, and welcoming living environments (including laundry, housekeeping, and meal preparation).
- Teach valuable skills—from financial management to communication.
- Be a source of companionship, guidance, and advocacy.
- Accurately document care and daily activities
- Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping
- Support budgeting house cash
- Coordinate medical appointments, medication ordering/pick up
- Assist with monthly paperwork
- 1 Year of experience as a DSP or similar
- Compassion, reliability, and a willingness to learn
- 18 years or older
- A valid US driver’s license, reliable transportation with insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check through DHS
