Lead complex geotechnical engineering projects across the Mid-Atlantic while helping grow a respected consulting practice known for solving challenging infrastructure and site development projects.

A bit about us:

This a seller - doer role. You will have a large impact in growing the existing office footprint with various projects and clientele. They already have an established presence with other engineers locally to collaborate with. This is not a from scratch build.

This company is an established multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm delivering innovative solutions across transportation, infrastructure, land development, environmental, and public-sector projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic. With a collaborative culture and a diverse portfolio of complex engineering assignments, this company provides geotechnical expertise on projects ranging from highways and bridges to marine facilities, federal installations, commercial developments, and critical infrastructure. As project demand continues to grow, the firm is seeking a technical leader who can help expand its geotechnical capabilities while mentoring the next generation of engineers.

Job Details

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure in the immediate futureExperience managing geotechnical engineering projects from investigation through design and construction supportBackground performing and interpreting subsurface investigations, borings, laboratory testing, and geotechnical analysesExperience preparing geotechnical reports and recommendations for foundations, retaining structures, earthwork, and site developmentExperience supporting transportation, marine, federal, commercial, or public infrastructure projectsAbility to mentor junior engineers while developing strong client relationships and identifying new business opportunitiesStrong communication, technical leadership, and project management skills
