Position Overview
Help lead the team that gets our guests' mountain days started off right. As a Lead Guest Transit Host at Mt. Hood Meadows, you'll be a key part of the guest experience while providing day-to-day guidance and support to our Guest Transit Hosts. You'll help keep shuttle operations safe, organized, and moving smoothly across our parking areas while serving as a knowledgeable and approachable resource for both guests and your team.
You'll work across multiple parking locations, assist with shuttle loading and unloading, manage guest lines and traffic flow, provide current resort information, and communicate closely with shuttle drivers and other departments. You'll also train and coach Guest Transit Hosts, help coordinate their movements between parking locations, and ensure the team is following safe and consistent procedures throughout the day.

This is a part-time, seasonal position
Qualifications & Experience
Must be 21 years of age or olderAbility to pass a driver background checkAbility to be insured to operate company vehiclesAbility to work outdoors in adverse winter weather conditionsComfortable interacting with the public using verbal communicationAble to work effectively in a team environmentStrong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectivelyAbility to understand and follow directionsConfidence working with a broad spectrum of guestsProfessional and respectful communication skillsMust be able to work unsupervisedAbility to stay calm in high pressure situationsAbility to commit to working weekends and holidays during the winter season
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience as a MHM Guest Transit Host or Guest ServicesKnowledge of mountain operations and industry detailsPrior service industry experiencePrevious experience of operating vehicles in winter conditions
Compensation:
Wage: $20.63 - $24.66 hourly
