Job Description
Lead Electrical Engineer – Hardware Design & Team Leadership
Packet Digital is looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive hardware design and lead a high‑performing engineering team. This is a hands‑on leadership role combining advanced PCB design with mentoring, project ownership, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical hardware development from concept to production
- Design and review schematics, PCB layouts, and documentation
- Mentor engineers and lead design reviews
- Support project quoting, scheduling, and resource planning
- Optimize designs for cost, manufacturability, and reliability
- Hands‑on testing, troubleshooting, and product support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years of electrical / PCB design experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.)
