LeadHVAC Installer4-Day Work Week!
- Lead and supervise a team of installers/helpers on job sites, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
- Install new or replacement HVAC systems and components, including gas & oil furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, condensers, coils, package units, boilers, mini-splits, ductwork, thermostats, zoning systems, humidifiers, IAQ products, gas lines, refrigerant lines (with soldering/brazing), sheet metal/flex duct, and related accessories.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and manufacturer guidelines to plan and execute installations.
- Perform modifications to duct systems, fabricate duct fittings as needed, and ensure proper airflow and system performance.
- Wire electrical (line and low voltage) connections for HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot installation issues, test systems post-installation, and make adjustments to verify optimal operation.
- Maintain safety protocols, comply with local building codes, EPA regulations, and company policies.
- Manage job-site materials, tools, and inventory; load/unload trucks and prepare for daily jobs.
- Interact professionally with customers, explain work performed, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction.
- Experience: 3–5+ years of verifiable hands-on HVAC installation experience (residential and/or light commercial); prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.Education: High school diploma or GED required; HVAC trade school, diploma, or apprenticeship completion is preferred.Certifications:
- A2L & EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal or Type II minimum).
- Valid driver's license with clean record.
- Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand/power tools.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical/gas connections, duct design, and local mechanical/electrical codes.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Physical fitness for lifting heavy equipment, working in tight spaces/attics/crawlspaces, and climbing ladders.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and customer service focus.
