Job Description

Make a Difference with Your Skills At Greencroft Communities, we believe our campuses should feel like home - safe, well-maintained, and welcoming. As our Maintenance Lead I, you’ll play a hands-on role in keeping our buildings, equipment, and grounds in top condition while supporting the comfort and safety of our residents and team members.

Schedule: M-F 8AM - 4:30PM

Key duties of this role include but not limited to:

  • Perform and oversee repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general building maintenance.

  • Complete work orders promptly and in compliance with code standards.

  • Communicate and collaborate with residents and staff to ensure a great experience for everyone on campus.

  • Assist with apartment turnovers, preventative maintenance, and small projects.

  • Respond to calls, including lockouts and emergency situations.

  • Maintain shop supplies and order as needed.

  • Operate golf carts to transport tools and supplies between facilities.

  • Provide seasonal snow removal and assist with event setup and tear-down.

  • Participate in a weekend/evening on-call rotation.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).

  • 1–3 years of general maintenance experience preferred.

  • Skills in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry work.

  • Ability to work independently and safely, following maintenance department standards.

  • Good communication skills and a helpful, team-oriented attitude.
