Lead Metal FabricatorPay: $28.00+ per hour (DOE)Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73105Shift: Monday Friday | 6: 50 AM 3: 20 PMJob Type: Temp-to-HirePosition OverviewThe Lead Metal Fabricator is responsible for leading shop fabrication and supporting installation projects both locally and out of state. This Lead Metal Fabricator role requires strong leadership, blueprint reading skills, and hands-on experience working with various metals. The ideal Lead Metal Fabricator is experienced, detail-oriented, and capable of guiding a team while maintaining high-quality standards.Required Experience & Skills5 10 years of fabrication and installation experience Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications Experience working with stainless, brass, aluminum, and bronze Proven leadership or ability to guide team members Ability to travel out of state for projects (multi-day trips) Physically capable of lifting and performing hands-on work Must pass drug screen (including THC) and background check Reliable transportation to shopEssential Duties & Responsibilities Lead fabrication and assembly of metal components Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Assist with and lead installation projects on job sites Operate grinders, sanders, and polishing equipment Ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency on all projects Guide and support junior team members Maintain a clean and safe work environment Travel with team to complete installations as requiredPreferred Qualifications Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Experience overseeing projects from fabrication to installationCompany Benefits Upon Direct Hire401(k) with 3% matchHealth insurance (BCBS 50% employer paid)PTO accrual starting at 16 hours (up to 96 hours)6 paid federal holidays Travel expenses covered (hotel and meals on company card) Company vehicle provided for travel (no driving required initially)Work Environment Fabrication shop and traveling job sites Exposure to metal materials, tools, and equipment Physically active role requiring lifting, standing, and movement throughout shift Overtime likely during installation projectsJobID 124557Stand-By Personnel
