The Goddard School of Downtown Pittsburgh, a premium childcare and daycare center, is searching for a passionate Lead or Assistant Teacher to join our full-time team with comprehensive benefits.
Located on 5th Ave., our school has served the families of Pittsburgh for over 10 years, providing a vibrant environment for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and Pre-K (Pre-Kindergarten) children.

Summary
The Goddard School of Downtown Pittsburgh is always looking for a great teacher!
The right candidate is reliable, positive, loves children, and wants a long-term career in Early Childhood Education. Experience in childcare, daycare, or teaching is preferred.

Our Teachers Are Responsible For:
- Coordinating the daily operations of assigned classrooms
- Planning, presenting, and evaluating educational and recreational activities
- Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and positive environment
- Working directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service

Qualifications
- PA Teaching Certificate
- 1–2 years of previous experience preferred
- Successfully completed state-required pre-service training
- Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to calmly manage stressful situations while multitasking
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. (for child safety and emergency situations)
- For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to safely lift infants in and out of cribs
- Meets background check eligibility requirements
