As a Pre-K Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in preparing children for kindergarten by fostering curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning in a nurturing and engaging classroom environment.
What You'll Do:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, engaging lessons aligned with the Primrose curriculum
- Create a warm, safe, and inclusive classroom where children feel supported and excited to learn
- Observe, assess, and document children's progress and development
- Build strong partnerships with families through open communication and collaboration
- Maintain an organized, inviting classroom that supports hands-on learning
- Lead activities that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and social-emotional growth
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing, health, and safety regulations
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a preschool or early learning setting
- Teaching license or Early Childhood Education certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and a genuine love for working with young children
- Solid understanding of early childhood development and best practices
- Ability to create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- A team-oriented attitude and commitment to professional growth
