WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
In this role, you will be part of a dynamic engineering team supporting the execution of client projects. Your primary focus will be process design within the consumer products industry, including data investigation, technical analysis, and development of sound engineering solutions aligned with company, client, and project objectives.
You will apply engineering theory in practical, real‑world scenarios—evaluating feasibility, identifying potential process upsets, implementing corrective measures, and selecting commercially available technologies to achieve optimal process performance. Professional ethics, adherence to industry codes and standards, and strong client‑facing professionalism are essential in this position.
YOUR IDEAL BACKGROUND:
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in the consumer products industry preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading or executing process designs, including engineering calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, specifications, design basis documents, and associated engineering lists
- Knowledge of common chemicals and fluids used in consumer product applications and their interaction with materials of construction
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Fathom
- Understanding of fluid control valves and instrumentation
- Familiarity with specification and sizing of pumps, heat exchangers, vessels, and other process equipment
- Strong customer relationship management and communication skills
- On‑site, in‑plant, or startup experience preferred
