Summary: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Foreman to lead day-to-day field operations on our commercial and industrial electrical construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing crews, coordinating project logistics, maintaining schedules, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate is both a strong leader and an experienced tradesperson — someone who can confidently manage field operations while also stepping into the work alongside their team when needed. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with the ability to drive productivity and maintain a positive jobsite culture.

As a key on-site leader, the Project Foreman will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and customers to keep projects moving forward successfully from start to finish. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, leads by example, and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, coordinate, and support a team of electricians and apprentices on job sites
  • Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project timelines
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes
  • Enforce safety standards and promote a strong safety culture on site
  • Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide technical guidance
  • Track labor hours, materials, and job progress; report updates as needed
  • Assist with material planning, ordering, and inventory control
  • Train and mentor apprentices and less experienced electricians
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Demands & Qualifications:
  • Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (as required by state/local regulations)
  • 8-10+ years' electrical experience, including supervisory and/or lead experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work in various environments (heights, confined spaces, outdoor conditions)
  • Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
  • Commercial, industrial, and/or residential job sites
  • May require travel between job locations
  • Overtime and flexible hours may be required based on project needs
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Compliance with RME's drug free and safety policies
