Job Description
Senior Project Manager
The Senior Project Manager will:
- Lead a major construction project from preconstruction through completion
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and reporting
- Oversee contracts, procurement, subcontractor management, and project documentation
- Lead project teams including Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and support staff
- Coordinate design and construction activities to ensure project success
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project controls
- Monitor financial performance and maintain budget objectives
- Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to clients and leadership
- Oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control efforts
- Ensure successful project closeout and client satisfaction
The successful Senior Project Manager will have:
- 10+ years of General Contractor or Construction Management experience
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects valued at $30M+
- Institutional, public sector, higher education, healthcare, laboratory, or similar project experience preferred
- Design-Build experience preferred
- Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills
- Experience leading project teams and mentoring junior staff
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, contracts, and project controls
- Proven leadership, integrity, and professionalism
- Ability to manage complex projects while maintaining strong client relationships
