Job Description

Role OverviewAn opportunity for a seasoned Automation QA Engineer with deep experience in Cypress and TypeScript. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities• Build and enhance automation frameworks using Cypress and TypeScript• Create and execute reliable automated test scripts across UI, API, and integration layers• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD workflows using tools such as GitLab or Jenkins• Collaborate across development, QA, and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage• Diagnose and resolve automation issues to maintain test reliability• Adhere to best practices in automation architecture and code quality• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior QA engineers

Required Experience and Skills• 10+ years in automation testing, with at least 2 years hands-on experience using Cypress and TypeScript• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and automation design patterns• Skilled in API automation using tools such as Postman or equivalent• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology, SDLC, and STLC• Outstanding analytical, debugging, and communication abilities
