Job Description

Lead Specialist, Retail Media (i-Health)

Shelton, CT

The Lead Specialist, Retail Media will be responsible for leading the execution and optimization of retail media programs across Walmart Connect and Target (Roundel) for our portfolio of leading consumer health brands, including Culturelle, AZO, and Estroven.

This role will be responsible for the hands-on-keyboard management of retail media campaigns, including campaign setup, optimization, reporting, and budget management, while also providing strategic oversight to ensure media investments support brand growth, sales objectives, and omnichannel marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retail Media Strategy & Planning
  • Develop retail media strategies for Culturelle, AZO, and Estroven that align with brand, ecommerce, and business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to grow market share, increase product visibility, drive trial, and improve conversion across Walmart and Target.
  • Recommend investment allocations based on promotional calendars, product launches, competitive activity, and business priorities.
  • Align on campaign strategies and activations needed to accelerate business with direction from account sales leads.
  • Partner closely with Brand Marketing, Sales, Media, and Analytics teams to ensure alignment of retail media efforts.
  • Campaign Management & Execution
  • Serve as the day-to-day operator for Walmart Connect and Roundel media programs.
  • Build, launch, and optimize campaigns across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Display, Video, Offsite, and other available retail media formats.
  • Manage audience targeting, keyword strategies, bidding, budgets, flighting, and creative implementation.
  • Monitor campaign pacing and performance to ensure efficient use of media investments.
  • Conduct ongoing optimization to improve sales performance, ROAS, visibility, share of voice, and conversion rates.
  • Understand, interpret and action Scintilla module insights to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Maintain campaign calendars, budget tracking, and operational documentation.
  • Performance Measurement & Reporting
  • Develop recurring reporting that communicates performance against key business objectives and KPIs.
  • Present insights and strategic recommendations to marketing and leadership stakeholders.
  • Measure and report on metrics including ROAS, Sales, Incremental sales impact, CTR, CPC, Conversion rate, Impression share, New-to-brand/customer metrics
  • Conduct post-campaign analyses and summarize key learnings for future activation.
  • Support sales team data and presentation requests that drive retailer discussions.
  • Retailer & Agency Collaboration
  • Partner with Walmart Connect and Roundel representatives to identify opportunities, beta tests, and innovation programs.
  • Collaborate with agency partners where applicable to ensure execution excellence and strategic alignment.
  • Maintain knowledge of retailer capabilities, changes to media offerings, measurement enhancements, and best practices.
  • Act as the internal subject matter expert for Walmart and Target retail media.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Stay current on retail media trends, emerging capabilities, and evolving measurement methodologies.
  • Evaluate and recommend new audience targeting, attribution, and media optimization opportunities.
  • Develop best practices, playbooks, and standardized reporting frameworks for retail media management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and campaign effectiveness across brands.

You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Analytics, or related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in CPG, retail media, digital media, ecommerce marketing, or performance marketing.
  • Strong understanding of retail media network fundamentals and performance marketing principles.
  • Knowledge of 3rd party retail media tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and performance analysis.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple brands, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience managing sponsored search, display, and audience-based media campaigns preferred but not required.

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will bebased on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00.
