Lead Superintendent

Our client is a family-owned and operated construction firm with over 15 years of sustained growth throughout Connecticut. With a project portfolio spanning commercial, healthcare, academic, retail, municipal, and multifamily construction, they have built an outstanding reputation for treating both employees and subcontractors with respect and professionalism. Current projects range up to $30M in value, and the company maintains approximately 18 months of secured work in its pipeline. The organization is also actively involved in local charitable initiatives and is known for its collaborative, family-oriented culture.

The Lead Superintendent will be responsible for:

• Lead all on-site construction operations from preconstruction through project completion
• Manage project schedules and coordinate daily activities of subcontractors and vendors
• Ensure all work is executed safely and in accordance with project specifications
• Conduct site meetings and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders
• Oversee quality control and ensure projects meet client expectations
• Coordinate inspections, permits, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Track project progress and proactively resolve field issues
• Utilize construction management software, including Procore and related project tools

The ideal Superintendent has:

• 5-10+ years of Superintendent experience within commercial construction
• Experience managing projects valued up to $30M preferred
• Healthcare construction experience strongly preferred, including renovations and specialized medical spaces
• Experience overseeing active healthcare environments such as imaging, cancer treatment, pulmonary, or similar facilities is a plus
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
• Proficiency with Procore and standard construction technology platforms
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Ability to commute to the Hartford, CT area and project sites throughout Connecticut

The Superintendent will receive:

• Base salary: $120,000 - $160,000
