- Help the Director take turns in responding to any emails/phone calls and any parent communication when the director is busy with tours or families.
- Be flexible in closing or opening the center along with the Director.
- Be responsible doing the floor as needed. Going to any classroom and helping teachers during breaks.
- Be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for 1 year old babies.
- Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P curriculum using our fun and engaging characters, making TLE a place where learning is fun!
- Build relationships with families and colleagues, creating a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
- Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through various avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
- A genuine passion for the education and care of children and babies?
- Atleast 2+ years of professional teaching experience in a childcare facility and caring for infants and/or babies (required)? 3-4 years of experience with babies, is preferred.
- CPR and first aid certification?
- Ability to meet state/local childcare licensing requirement?
- CDA Credential: A current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential from the Council for Professional Recognition is a common requirement.
- Associate's Degree: An Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development is another option.
- Technical Certificates/Diplomas: A Technical College Diploma (TCD) or Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education or Child Development also meets the requirement.
- Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree, especially in Early Childhood Education, is another acceptable qualification.
- Other Credentials: In some cases, 25 quarter hours or 15 semester hours from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education or Child Development may be accepted.
