Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Clinical Nurse Manager
Shift: Non-exempt, Days, 6:45a-3p, 8x5, 40hrs per week
Duration: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- NY License
- 2 years of experience
- Acute or Long Term Care experience
- Nurse Manager/Supervisory experience (preferred)
- Ventilator experience (preferred)
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Other Details:
- Coordinates delivery of resident care; responsible for recommendation, development, and implementation of policies and procedures
- Maintains operational aspects of the assigned unit in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Oversees staff schedules, staff meetings, and ongoing education of residents and families
- Maintains standards of care and oversees compliance with the care planning process and facility policies
- Adheres to infection control standards and safety protocols
- Utilizes progressive disciplinary process including coaching and counseling
- Communicates regularly with Director of Nursing; collaborates across all three shifts
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- May involve exposure to resident's blood/body fluids
- Must be able to assist in evacuation of residents if necessary
