Job Description

We take play seriously. We’re looking for curious adventurers ready to find their party, fueled by imagination and drive to build what’s never been built before. At Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast, you’ll collaborate with passionate teams to reimagine our iconic brands and create experiences that spark joy, connection, and community through the magic of play. This is your chance to shape legendary play that lasts a lifetime.

At Hasbro, our mission is to entertain and connect generations of fans through the wonder of storytelling and exhilaration of play. We're looking for adventurous and curious people who want to explore, experiment, and innovate to come up with the best ideas. Our culture has inspired our diverse team of highly skilled, highly creative, and highly committed individuals for 100 years and we believe the best is yet to come.

Great leadership doesn't happen by accident - it's built intentionally! At Hasbro, we're investing in leaders who can inspire teams, make bold decisions, and create cultures of feedback and accountability. As our Learning & Development Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping that future. Collaborating directly with senior executives, you'll develop and build high-impact development experiences that translate strategy into action and unlock performance at scale across our organization.

This is an Individual Contributor role with significant visibility and influence, dedicated to translating business strategy into practical, behavior-changing development solutions.

This position is a hybrid role and will be onsite Tuesday - Thursday at either our Boston, MA or Seattle WA offices.

A Day in the Life of a Learning & Development Business Partner:

  • Consult with Director+ Leaders: Build trusted relationships with senior leaders to understand business priorities, organizational dynamics, and leadership challenges.
  • Diagnose & Design: Conduct targeted needs assessments and translate insights into custom workshops, leadership sessions, and development experiences aligned to business strategy.
  • Strengthen Leadership Capability: Design and facilitate high-impact sessions focused on feedback culture, decision clarity, accountability, psychological safety, and team effectiveness.
  • Support VP+ Offsites: Partner with the Director of L&D to build and lead leadership offsites that drive alignment, candid dialogue, and clear outcomes.
  • Customize for Function: Develop tailored learning interventions when needed to address specific functional or team challenges.
  • Embed Practical Tools: Build actionable toolkits and frameworks leaders can apply immediately to improve feedback quality, decision-making, and performance.
  • Program Management: Own and manage the end-to-end logistics of leadership development programs and sessions.
  • Measure Impact: Define success metrics and evaluate effectiveness through stakeholder feedback, behavior change indicators, and business outcomes.
  • Champion a Culture of Growth: Model authenticity, kind candor, and drive in every interaction, reinforcing high standards and continuous improvement.

WhatYou'll Bring:

  • 7-10+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Talent Development, or HR Business Partnering.
  • Demonstrated experience consulting with senior leaders to diagnose needs and develop targeted development solutions.
  • Strong facilitation skills and executive presence; experience leading sessions for Director-level audiences.
  • Ability to translate complex business challenges into structured, actionable learning solutions.
  • Experience crafting and delivering custom leadership workshops and team interventions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills in a matrixed organization.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and constantly evolving environments.
  • Data fluency and ability to assess impact and iterate accordingly.

Preferred:

  • Experience coaching or advising leaders.
  • Experience supporting Dir+ level teams.
  • Experience in creative, consumer-facing, or fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with modern learning technologies and AI-enhanced tools.

Why It Matters:

Leadership capability is a critical driver of performance, engagement, and innovation. As a Senior Manager, L&D Business Partner, you will help reduce organizational friction by strengthening feedback culture, clarifying decision-making, and growing leadership effectiveness at scale.
