Description
The purpose of this position is to create lease contracts in Publix's computer system, along with ensuring tenant compliance with the legal documents, as well as support the coordination of special events for all Publix retail stores and the operations of the lease administration and compliance team, and real estate assets department, as needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Abstracting and creating contracts (also known as "lease records"), including tenant contracts, adjacent property contracts and internal rent contracts, in Compass for acquired shopping centers and Publix's existing company-controlled portfolio
- Tracking, reviewing, and managing lease compliance requests (e.g. providing proof of insurance, reporting sales, providing proof of pest control services and HVAC maintenance) for approximately 4,000 Publix tenants to ensure compliance obligations are being met per specific lease agreements for each tenant
- Coordinating the approval of special events (e.g., Blood Mobile, Girl Scout cookies) for all retail Publix stores

Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of formal training/certification and professional work experience that demonstrates the prerequisite competence to perform the duties of this position
- One year of office/business experience
- The ability to attend to and verify the accuracy and completeness of detailed information in documents or on the computer, such as prices, quantity, weights, lists or data
- The ability to identify and analyze key information from multiple sources
- The ability to perform arithmetic computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division correctly using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages
- The ability to input data into databases and uses tools to provide simple descriptive analyses (e.g., counts, means, etc.)
- The ability to manage time so that the priority of the activities determines the timing and amount of attention they receive
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates Degree in any field
- One year of office/business experience in the real estate field
- Knowledge of Publix real estate legal documents such as leases, amendments, and assignments
- Knowledge of insurance policies and terms, procedures and requirements
- Knowledge of Publix real estate processes, structure, and operations
- Knowledge of Compass, SAP, Publix Property Portal (P3) and O365 Solutions, SharePoint, Teams, Planner, etc.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
