Primary Duties

Teaches graduate-level social work courses in the Online MSW program, including course preparation, syllabus development, alignment with CSWE competencies, assessment of student learning outcomes, maintenance of office hours, and submission of grades in accordance with university policy

Coordinates and supports the implementation and day-to-day operations of the Online MSW program, including course scheduling support, program logistics, facilitation of communication among faculty and staff, and ensuring consistency across online cohorts

Advises and mentors MSW students regarding academic progression, professional development, and program expectations in collaboration with the MSW Program Coordinator

Prepares and contributes to accreditation, assessment, and data collection activities related to CSWE standards and Online MSW program quality assurance

Ancillary Duties

Participates in departmental service, recruitment, outreach, and community engagement activities related to the Online MSW program

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited institution

  • Ability to teach effectively in online or asynchronous learning environments

  • Ability to coordinate academic programs and support online instructional delivery

  • Knowledge of social work education standards and student assessment practices

  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and administrators

  • Ability to support diverse and nontraditional student populations

  • Minimum two years of post-MSW professional social work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado

  • Experience in online graduate education

  • Familiarity with CSWE accreditation standards

  • Experience supporting program coordination or quality assurance activities

  • Experience working with diverse and nontraditional learners
