Aspen Careers is partnering with a respected, mid-sized Ohio law firm to identify a Finance Manager who will oversee the firm's day-to-day financial operations and lead its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to step into a leadership role while working closely with firm management in a collaborative legal environment.

- Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes while maintaining accurate financial records

- Monitor cash flow, reconcile accounts, and help maintain strong internal financial controls
- Work closely with attorneys and administrative leadership to support the firm's operational and financial goals

The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3-7 years of accounting or finance experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
- Prior experience within a law firm or professional services environment is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting
- Experience with law firm accounting software and trust accounting is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience mentoring or supervising accounting staff
- High level of professionalism, accuracy, and discretion when handling confidential financial information
