Legal Accounting Manager | Houston Looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager ready to step into a high-visibility role working directly with leadership!This is a great opportunity to join a stable, growing professional services firm where youll oversee daily accounting operations and play a key role in financial reporting and compliance.? What you will be doing:?? Oversee full-cycle accounting (AP, cash receipts, payroll)?? Manage and mentor accounting staff?? Own month-end close, journal entries, and general ledger?? Lead trust accounting (IOLTA) + compliance ???? Support financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting?? Partner directly with COO + external CPA/audit team?? Maintain strong internal controls and improve processes? What we are looking for:?? 57+ years of accounting experience?? Law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred?? Strong trust accounting + compliance knowledge?? Leadership experience with a hands-on approach?? Comfortable working with executives and auditors? Why this role stands out:??
