Job Description
Legal Administrative Assistant
Rhoades Levy Law Group P.C., a Northbrook, Illinois-based law firm, is seeking a legal administrative assistant to join its rapidly growing and highly collaborative law firm.
This position is available on either a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week) or a part-time basis (20-37 hours per week) and is an in-office role.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Experience working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and PDF software
- Law firm or other legal experience is a plus
- Experience working with Smokeball and/or other document management systems is a plus
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and software programs
- Understanding of business operations and client confidentiality is a plus
Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, and other legal administrative assistants
- Opening new files
- Preparing and assembling documents
- Scheduling meetings and conference room use
- Greeting clients
- Following up with clients and other people via e-mail and telephone
- Managing office, kitchen, and postage supplies
- Serving as a witness during client document execution meetings
- Other duties as assigned

Base compensation starts at $42,500+ dependent on experience and a full-time schedule. Additional compensation includes a discretionary bonus, health, dental and vision paid at 50% for employee, flexible time off, and participation in RLLaw's 401K Profit Sharing Plan after one year of employment, which includes a 3% safe harbor contribution and a discretionary profit-sharing contribution.
